Pitched Roofer in Backworth

Pitched Roofers in Backworth — what to expect

For residents in Backworth and the wider Tyne and Wear area, maintaining the integrity and aesthetic appeal of your property’s pitched roofing is crucial, and we offer a comprehensive range of services to address all your needs. Whether you're considering a complete re-roofing project or require specific repairs, our skilled roofers are adept at working with both traditional slate tiles, known for their durability and classic look, and a variety of concrete and clay tiles, offering flexibility in style and budget. We pay close attention to the details that ensure a watertight and long-lasting finish, including the proper bedding of ridge tiles in lime mortar, a technique vital for older properties. Beyond general pitched roof installation and maintenance, our expertise extends to essential chimney repair. This can involve anything from minor repointing to address weathered mortar joints, preventing water ingress and structural damage, to more extensive chimney rebuilding if sections have become compromised. We also specialise in the correct installation and repair of lead flashing, a key element in preventing leaks around chimney stacks and roof valleys, as well as carrying out valley repair and ensuring perfect hip and gable details. If you're in the NE27 postcode district and need a professional roof survey to assess your current roof's condition or are planning a pitched roof installation, we are here to help. We encourage you to compare quotes to find the right solution for your home.
